A major influence for jumping into the webcomic world! Nekowabaka! - Yes... he has HIS OWN webcomic series. For those who appreciate the humor involved with this purposely crap-drawn webcomic about a cat that flips over and says "BAKA", this is for you! Like RO, it's updated every Monday and Thursday. NEKOWABAKA PROMOTE! Exploitation Now - It's finally over, but it's never too late to read it from the beginning for the first time. Or for veteran readers, check out Poe's new comic series, Errant Story! Sinfest - Another long-time fave! (Warning: The very religious may not really like this comic, but those with a good sense of humor will really get a kick out of it) Penny Arcade - Join the adventures of Gabe and his best bud Tycho! Follow them through their journey in the land of video games! ^_^ (okay, okay... no, really... it's another video game-based comic, and with plenty of wang jokes.) MegaTokyo - Another fave among the RO crew. We read it every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday... ^^;;;; 8-bit Theater - The original Final Fantasy, seen in a totally different and upside-down perspective! It's the best sprite-based webcomic out there that rivals even the hand-drawn stuff. Okashina Okashi - Strange Candy - An odd mix of Anime/Manga mockeries/parodies, fangirls, yaoi, and crossdressing. Strange indeed... but it's definitely a winning combination you should check out! And finally, if you're looking for any more webcomics out there to read, check out KeenSpace and KeenSpot for many thousands of other great comics. Also check out some online comic directories like OnlineComics.net, The Belfry Comics Index, and the OCAD Comic Directory for many more! Other Stuff: Slashdot - "News for nerds, stuff that matters." Great place to keep up on the latest science/computer/geek news. GameFAQs - Good resources for codes and hints to video games old and new. (Remember though, cheaters never prosper! :x) X-Entertainment - No, it's not a porn site (sorry if you were hoping). `.` However, you will find plenty of articles on the pop culture from our not-too-distant past (lots of 80's stuff), and even if you weren't around that long ago you're sure to get an entertaining history lesson nonetheless. Lots of funny stuff. Check X-E out! Homestar Runner - Ridiculously insane website of nonsense Flash animation! But of course, it's also ridiculously funny to those who have a nonsense kinda sense of humor. :-P ThinkGeek - The perfect place for all your caffeine and techno-shiz! I could definitely go for a bottle of that caffeinated vanilla syrup and make that Super Vanilla Coke I've been dying to make... :-P Webcomic/Art Resources: www.BakaNeko.com - No, not Nekowabaka, but it is a good resource for those learning how to draw in the Anime/Manga style! BakaNeko provides a great list of techniques, and tutorials, and a very fun Oekaki-Board to play with. ^_^ Rocketbox Comics - This isn't a comic itself, nor is it a publisher of them... but these guys are loaded with resources for those interested in making a webcomic of their own (like us!), and even for those who have been around for a while. Check 'em out, they really helped! OnlineComics.net - An online comics search engine and directory. The Belfry Comics Index - Another webcomic directory you can submit to. OCAD - Comic Directory - These guys are good too. Top Web Comics - Like OnlineComics.net, people can vote for your comic with this.
